Hydrogen, the primary ingredient in many rocket fuels. The more common uses are as a coolant and cryogenic material. It is also used as a tracer gace for leak detection and in some of its more rare forms in nuclear reactors to control the reaction. Despite its use in hydrogen bombs the element is actually used as a moderator in fission reactors.

The largest application of hydrogen is for the processing of fossil fuels into more useable forms.
