Many may not know but Helium isn’t just used for clown balloons and funny voices, but it is also used in scientific balloons. Science balloons aid in meteorology, atmospheric, astronomy, and military research.
Helium is also used to pressurize fuel tanks for liquid fueled rockets, and in supersonic wind tunnels.
Who would have thought this goofy gas could do so much.
